Eagle

The old Wild West was remodled beautifully and is now called Rachel's Bistro, the place is stunning and the pastries and coffee are wonderful. If you like a warm Tuscany feel you will love it.
The City of Eagle could be the first city in Eagle to ban smoking altogether. This ban would include work places, public places and bars. There could be a few small, designated public places in which individuals could still smoke and of couse they could smoke in their own homes.
The City of Eagle was officially incorporated in 1971, but was first recognized as a village in 1904. Once a vital, albeit small, rural community, Eagle has grown appreciably in the recent past.  From a population numbering less than 500 in 1971, the city has grown to include more than 22,000 residents today. Favorite Eagle Restaurant: Mai Thai
Favorite Coffee Place: Rembrandts http://www.rembrandtscoffeehouse.net/
Favorite BBQ Place in all of Idaho is the Roadhouse BBQ http://roadhousebbq.com  The food is really great! The Texas style BBQ, especially the pulled pork, is tender and tasty. This place rocks, as you can tell when you click the link above.  Enjoy Robert Earl Keen's music about "Barbecue," as you get the address and peruse the yummy menu. (I don't even work for the owners either.) Love it!
Other nice things about Eagle: Eagle Public Library, www.eaglepubliclibrary.org/, nice parks especially Eagle Island State Park (http://www.visitidaho.org/thingstodo/parks/eagle-island-state-park.aspx), (though it is miles away from the city, its location being off Linder Rd. between State St. and Chinden Blvd.), good schools, close to nice weekend get-aways.
