Wallace is located approximately 50 miles east of Coeur d'Alene next to (and beneath) Interstate 90.  Wallace is full of rich history, in fact, every downtown building is on the National Register of Historic Places.

A beautiful building you should not miss is Wallace's Carnegie Library.  It was built in 1911 and restored in 1999.
