Pierce

Page history last edited by Kim Ward 1 yr ago

Pierce is a small town located in the beautiful Clearwater mountains in Northern Idaho.  An area rich in history,

we are the first town established in Idaho as a result of the gold rush of the 1860's.  Besides history, our area boasts

such activities as downhill skiing, snowmobiling, fly fishing, hunting, & ATV trails to mention a few.

We have the J. Howard Bradbury Museum, which is open during the summer months.  It has display cases and pictures

of logging operations during the 60's and 70's.  Bald Mtn. Ski hill is located a few miles out of town and is open Dec. -

Mar.  The Timber Inn is a great place to stop in for a burger.  The Outback is a B&B with cabins for rent.  A new restaraunt

opening soon is The Roost which will serve deli sandwiches and homemade soups.  The Library is a great place to stop

and browse for a book, get on the wireless internet on one of our 4 computers, or just visit with our very friendly librarian.

It's a long drive up here but I don't think you'll be disappointed once you arrive.
