McCammon is a rural community located in southeastern part of the state.  It has a small store, bar, school, and church.  It is located in a valley with a winding creek and beautiful landscape.  Community members enjoy two parades a year and an exciting two day rodeo in July(our only claim to fame).  Everyone knows everything about everybody!  I am a transplant and it took me awhile to get use to that.  I do know one thing....when you need help, the community is there.  Oh! and by the way...we are located on the way to Lava Hot Springs.  In fifteen minutes you can be to a great little resort town with hot pools and a wonderful Thai restaurant.
